Ben does a fantastic job of pointing out the irony of this article.  One of the biggest reasons I haven’t given Spore so much as a sideways glance is because of the draconian DRM utilized within the game.

Take Your Time. No, Really.

A decade and a half to finally admit to something that seemed rather obvious, the government FINALLY admits the cause. How much longer before they figure out how to “fix it”?

Bad Commercial

I just saw this commercial on TV for some company called “FinallyFast.com”.  They are supposedly a company that helps you speed up your PC, however based on the commercial, I wouldn’t trust them.  The first two computers in the commercial are Apple Macintoshes (first is an iMac and the second is a MacBook), even though the service is _ONLY_ for PC computers.  Heck, the second Mac in the commercial showed a Windows OS crashing (OK, well, that could happen if you set up and use Boot Camp, but still!)

If I were that company, I’d be kicking the group responsible for that ad square in the sensative place.

Believe in Yourself

This quote from one of the most amazing women of our time, Maya Angelou, really moved me:

You need to know that you can go somewhere. You’re not just like grass growing on the street.
